| Summary |
Method
marks (M) are awarded for knowing a method and attempting to apply
it. Accuracy marks (A) can only be awarded if the relevant method marks
(M) have been earned. (B) marks are independent of method marks. You
must not assume that these questions illustrate all that you can be asked.
There are various types of questions on these topics, many substantially longer
than those given here. You need to practice as many past examination questions
as you can, writing out specimen answers and checking them with a tutor. Find
out at your school or college where you can get past examinations questions
from. |

This page uses
jsMath. Note that you can get a better display of
the maths by downloading special TeX fonts from
jsMath. In the meantime, we will do the best we can
with the fonts you have, but it may not be pretty and some equations may not be
rendered correctly. |
