There is a formula for finding the area of a triangle if you know two of the sides and the angle between them. Area=½absinC An example Find the area of this triangle. Use the same labelling of angles and sides as in the top diagram and substitute values into the area formula. Area=½4.5sin40 Evaluate: Area=6.4
