J. Properties of a circle
Problems in AS/A2 mathematics, particularly where trigonometry is involved, may refer to properties of circles. You must be familiar with these three properties:

J1: The angle in a semicircle is a right angle
J2: The perpendicular from the centre to a chord bisects the chord
J3: The perpendicularity of radius and tangent
