The Monty Hall problem backmore
You have to find the hidden prize. First choose a box. One of the others (an empty one!) will then be opened. You can then choose to either keep your original box or trade it for the other. Finally, your chosen box will be opened to see if you have won the prize.
What is the best tactic? Always stick with your original choice? Always trade? Or does it make any difference? What are the probabilities of winning?

You need to have a java enabled browser like Netscape Navigator 4 to view this java applet.
