Interpret the regression line
The Java applet below allows you to select data sets and then display histograms and scatter graphs and summary statistics of them. Start by selecting a data set, then click Accept Data Set and choose Scatter Plots . Select an x-variable and y-variable from the lists given, and click Update. Display the regression line. Can you find any cases where there is strong correlation? Does it make sense given what the x and y variables represent?
