Technical information All the pages in this unit use Java. The applet y=mx+c was coding by James Brennan. The graph sketcher applet was written by David Eck as part of a project based at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, New York The unit circle and derivatives applets were created by W.Fendt. The cubic and sine applets come from University of Saskatchewan. The remaining pages use a Java program called Cinderella. Cinderella is a program designed to allow students to investigate geometry in a dynamic way. Be patient when starting because the first page may take a few minutes to load. After that, the whole process speeds up. (The main contents page may take a while to finish loading because it will automatically start downloading for you the necessary Cinderella files.)
