Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to all NCTM Illuminations Interactive Math Tools and all NCTM Illuminations i-Math Investigations, referred to hereafter as Illuminations applet-based content.

All Illuminations applet-based content is copyrighted by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), © 2002 NCTM. Illuminations applet-based content may be used, duplicated, or distributed only under the following conditions.

1. All downloaded Illuminations applet-based content is for individual use only. Multiple copies should not be made or distributed. In particular, bulk distribution is not allowed. The resources may be distributed by an individual teacher to a class under standard copyright regulations regarding fair educational classroom use.

2. In all uses of the Illuminations applet-based content, acknowledgement must be made to the Illuminations Web site (http://illuminations.nctm.org). Many of the Illuminations applets contain an NCTM logo-link, which links to the NCTM Illuminations Web site. If an applet contains this logo-link, then it must always remain in place and active.

3. Illuminations content may only be used for educational purposes.

4. Illuminations content may only be used for non-profit purposes.

5. In addition to the above points, users must comply with the General Terms of Use for the Illuminations Web site, found at http://illuminations.nctm.org/pages/terms.html.

6. These Terms of Use must be included with all Illuminations applet-based content that is shared, duplicated, or distributed.
