Properties of parallel lines
The red lines are parallel. Move the red and blue points about. The green angles will remain the same. These are called corresponding angles. The yellow angles will also remain the same. These are called alternate angles.

(In some books, corresponding angles are called "F-angles" and alternate angles "Z-angles".)
