Each task consists of a brief explanation on the left and a useable spreadsheet on the right. You will find that you can enter numbers, text or formulas in the cells as you would in any spreadsheet, although in many cases all the cells are "locked", ie., unchangeable, apart from the coloured ones.
Extended modelling tasks In some of the modelling tasks, cells may be coloured blue or yellow. Blue cells will contain information central to the task. Yellow cells are those suggested as suitable for using to calculate data and hence solve the problem. After using the supplied spreadsheet, you may want to set up the problem using your own spreadsheet program. This will allow you to produce graphs too.
