RECENT DEVELOPMENTS
Again lack of time has restricted the frequency of newsletters. Apart from continuing to develop the subscription site at http://www.mathsnetgcse.com, I have been updating the ASA2 site at http://www.mathsnet.net/asa2/2004/. The layout of pages is changing to make more use of the screen space - all of C1 and most of C2 have been changed in this way. The means by which A level questions are displayed interactively is being updated too. A Java applet is no longer being used, so this should enable greater compatibility with various computer systems (PC and Mac) and browsers. If only the educational world would turn to Firefox and away from Internet Explorer! You can download Firefox for free from http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ .
The ASA2 site includes all the questions on the Edexcel C1 and C2 module papers sat in January 2005. The online forum at http://www.mathsnet.net/forums/ continues to be active.

PLANS
After upgrading the ASA2 site I am going to start on the geometry site at http://www.mathsnet.net/geometry/. At present this area includes three complete courses on construction, transformations and shape, together with smaller topics on Pythagoras, Euclid, Mascheroni, Feynmann and others. There are also sections on the popular interactive geometry programs Cabri, Geometer's Sketchpad, Cinderella and C.a.R. The latter program, by the way, is freely available online at
http://mathsrv.ku-eichstaett.de/MGF/homes/grothmann/java/zirkel/doc_en/.
This geometry site is to be overhaulled and made more unified, possibly even moved to its own web address later in 2005.
Finally, to repeat from the last newsletter, any comments are welcome on Equation Buster at http://www.mathsnet.net/algebra/equation.html
