Maths at
Work Maths @ Work is a major part of the Governments Maths Year 2000 programme. It is scheduled for April/May 2000. There's a multimedia pack of regional Roadshows, a Teachers Pack in the form of a complete lesson on Maths @ work based around a video and backed up by a CD-ROM for the School library as well as the web site. Maths @ Work aims to raise awareness of the importance of maths both in the workplace and in everyday life and to show that maths is useful to everyone and not just for a few brainy people. |
