The Pleasure Beach Project

This proposal for a project is based on rides available at the fun fair on "the Golden Mile" at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK. It is hoped that eventually all the graphic images will be animated in some way and linked more closely to the mathematics of transformations.
Describe the movement of the riders on the Roller Coaster as they slowly climb the first incline. In the Viking boat, you swing in an arc. How big is that arc?	Describe the movement experienced when riding a Roundabout. In the above ride, the Cups rotate individually as the whole circular platform rotates too. Can you describe the movement of an individual person? Describe the movements on the Waltzer. What kind of movements are possible on the dodgems?

The Terminator ride is illustrated in the pictures below. Some of the movements are easy to describe, other very definitely not so!
